How does the Foundation address youth unemployment?

We empower youth with in-demand skills and real-world experience, bridging the gap between education and employment. We achieve this through demand led training, with the outcome being youth graduating from sponsored programmes and obtaining permanent employment.

Who is eligible to apply for redAcademy’s Career Sprint or similar programmes?

We welcome applications from young individuals in South Africa, aged between 18 – 32 years old, with a matric certificate and who possess a passion for technology and innovation.

redAcademy’s Career Sprint sees successful candidates enter into a one-year, MICT SETA-accredited programme where youth will gain experience in live environments and understand software development in the real world, which enables them to enter the workplace without a skills gap between learned knowledge and experience.
